COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund
As you are probably aware, the impact of the current global health crisis is likely to be felt most by those who have least. We are seeking to be faithful to the relationship that we have committed to with our Mission Partners as they serve those, many of whom have less than many of us can imagine. We are therefore launching a COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund. The Missionary Support Committee will be seeding this fund with £4500 from two legacies that were very generously given, but we hope that at this time you will prayerfully consider how you may be able to give to this fund. The fund will be distributed as COVID-19 related needs are communicated from each of our partners. Due to the nature of The Seeds’ work they will not be included as part of this appeal. This emergency fund will not impact our broader financial commitment to our Mission Partners so please consider this gift in addition to what you may already be giving to our Mission Partners.
Please use the following bank account details to give:
CCB Missionary Account
Sort Code: 60-02-12
Account Number: 14216930
Please make it clear that the gift is for this fund by adding ‘CERF’ to the reference. If you are a UK tax payer could you please add GA to the reference as this will enable us to enhance your gift by 25%. Many thanks!
Update | 29th April 2020
Thanks to those who have already given generously to the fund. As well as the £4500 seed funding we have received £1330 from the congregation. Please do continue to prayerfully consider whether you may be able to contribute to this fund. We have sent the first instalment to each of the organisations. Please see the messages of thanks below:
We are so grateful for the church’s response to our appeal for emergency aid to poor families in Pakistan. The need is great and will no doubt increase as the weeks continue. It is a blessing for us to be able to support as many as we can.
Since we launched our appeal, the official number of cases of COVID19 in Pakistan have increased to more than 7,000, although no one knows quite what the real number is. Whatever it is, it is unlikely to relent. The country is in lockdown for how long we don’t know.
Through Starfish Pakistan we have already distributed aid through 45 of our school leaders, we hope to continue for at least the next few weeks, maybe months. You can see a short report and pictures of the food distribution here.
It is a huge challenge and also a great opportunity to go the extra mile. We look forward to sharing further reports via our website as the distribution progresses. No one knows how long this is going to last, but God knows, and He cares.
With great appreciation,
Thank you so much. We continue trusting God for a real Passover by the power of Jesus Christ blood over all you dear people and ourselves here. In Kenya, we have 225 confirmed Covid19 individuals with 10 deaths. Our heart goes out for all those in ICUs throughout the world and especially in the UK.
Greetings to pastor Rob and to our lovely friends at CCB.

This is simply a divine intervention to our situation. Beyond words can Express but am forever grateful for the kind support.
We are in need at such a time when all things seem to be paralyzed and you did what true friends do for those in need.
Thank you so much for building our hope again. To be honest we were wondering whether we will have the children back in school under such circumstances. But now we trust our Lord has answered our dilemma!
Special thanks to the CCB Mission Committee and the overall leadership at the Vicarage.
You’ve definitely kept our heads up.
Thank you and God bless.
