Information

Christ Church

Christ Church Beckenham dates back to 1875, the Church has stood as a part of the community ever since. Our Parish has just over 2000 homes, and we have a regular congregation of about 300 people. Our website attempts to continue this tradition. We have a number of useful pages, bringing you a historical viewpoint, details of our aims and extensive information about all the activities at Christ Church, especially upcoming events. A detailed presentation about Christ Church was made for our recent 125th anniversary, a copy of which is online.

If you would like to see more of Christ Church please visit our Photographs page, which contains a number of images provided by the Beckenham Photographic Society. Those looking for information about Christ Church maybe interested in a page detailing the Organ's specification and a detailed report on the history and symbolism behind the Christ Church 'Te Deum Window'.

Our Vicar is The Rev. Nicholas Wynne-Jones, we have a copy of his latest address to the APCM online.

A comprehensive list of the organisations run at Christ Church is also available online.

Services

Christ Church meets every Sunday and at other times throughout the week, details can be found in our events section. During Sunday worship we all meet together for fifteen minutes, before the children leave to attend Sunday School for their own activities, with those in their age groups, except for Family Services, when they remain for the whole service and usually join in.

We provide Crèche facilities, and a loop system.
